Call for papers

We are cordially inviting you to submit papers to and attend the International Workshop New Challenges for Statistical Software - The Use of R in Official Statistics.

The workshop will be held in Bucharest-ROMANIA, on March 27, 2014.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide a public forum for researchers from academia and institutes of statistics to present, exchange ideas and discuss developments in state-of-the-art statistical software commonly used in applied economics and statistics. The most focused debates are expected to be the use of R in official Statistics.

All the research proposals/papers will be published in a special issue in the Romanian Statistical Review: http://www.revistadestatistica.ro/

The papers presented at the workshop can be revised after the workshop and before being submitted to the Romanian Statistical Review. Publication decisions will be based on a standard peer-reviewing process.
